Review of: The Central Park Walking Tour Reviewed 11-26-2018
We wanted to see parts of Central Park we never saw before, so with a family of 4, (2 older children) we decided to try this tour! We weren’t disappointed!!! A gorgeous- slow walk through the park with the ever knowledgeable Lyall that offered lots of stops for pictures as we traveled the park! Lyall was an amazing guide and went through the park and showed us everything we wanted to see!! Funny, informative with all the history, kept us on the correct paths, even letting us know when people behind us needed to pass! We felt super safe had an amazing adventure!! Very informative walking tour of Central park, Lyall is a great tour guide. Worth taking this tour to know the history behind different sites in the park and to see a lot in a couple of hours without figuring out where to go.

I had a fabulous bike tour of Central Park with Lyall. It was fun and interesting and allowed me to really understand the role of the park in this urban jungle. Lyall is very knowledgeable, witty and considerate. This tour was the highlight of my visit to NYC and I highly recommend it to visitors and locals alike.

Lots of fun!
We really enjoyed the tour. Lyle was our guide and he did a great job with a diverse group. My two teenagers really enjoyed it. There was a big run going on through the park so we had to maneuver around all the runners, which wasn't ideal, but the background info he shared about the landmarks and the history was terrific! Loved it. Definitely recommend.

We had an early morning tour at 9am on a Sunday, Lyle was our guide who was incredible and so great!

This is the Bike Tour to Pick! Best Way to See Central Park!
This was a great tour to take for our visiting Boy Scout Troop. Central Park Bike Tours was able to accommodate our group of 21 people (scouts ages 11-17, younger/older siblings, and parents) all in one tour. Everyone was fitted with the right size bike. Helmets are provided with the rental, mandatory for younger riders. Lyall, the owner and our tour guide was no less than phenomenal. He was small town friendly in a very big city. As a former teacher, his knowledge of NYC/Central Park and his enthusiasm for sharing interesting facts for the entire group was outstanding. There was plenty of time to take in the all the stops and take short walks to explore. The ride itself was at a leisurely pace. Surprisingly there were some hills in Central Park but Lyall gave us all the heads up before we started. Safety was the word throughout the entire tour. We were lucky to have taken our tour the day before the running of the NYC Marathon. There were many added things to see because the Marathon ends close to where the tour begins and ends. The tour, 2 hours, was a great value at $25 for children 12 and under, $35 for everyone else. Lyall made some Scouts first ever visit to NYC very memorable. Thanks for a great time!

It is a must in NYC, Lyall our guide was great, he took us all around Manhattan from East to West, incredible views, lots of secret spots, different iconic neighborhoods, he even took more time to visit some sculptures that were not included in the tour and one biker of the group asked as we all agree we went. Safe, good bikes, good for all ages and much easier of what I thought, I am 58, female, not in sports, this is the first time I took

Lots of fun!
